LiFFA Trivandrum down Desinganadu FA 6-2 in KFA Academy League (U-18) 2019-2020

LiFFA Trivandrum picked up a big 3 points win against Desinganadu FA on Saturday evening and earned 22 points from 9 games in KFA Academy League 2019-2020 as it continued its domination of the LiFFA with a decisive 6-2 victory on a beautiful weekend at the Kollam PirangiMaidanam.

The LiFFA picked up their seventh-straight win in the KFA state League and remained unbeaten in their last 8 matches. With the win, LiFFA moved into sole possession of first place in the KFA Academy League standings, as the team is now on 22 points with 1 league game to play.
“We’ve been struggling to find ourselves on the offensive end due to uneven and small field, but our players came out today with a mindset that we wanted to work hard to create great chances and finish those chances. We certainly did that.”

Anittan Antony is, quite simply, the most exciting midfielder in Kerala football. He can pass the ball for fun, showing courage in the tightest of spaces, but the extras in his game make him special. His dribbling and acceleration, often from deep areas of the pitch, can completely open a game. He scored 4 goals in his first match after 2 months of his ankle fracture. He celebrated his comeback with his sterling performance. Ignatious took possession of the ball in the midfield and made a class run past Desinganadu’s right back to the penalty area, and scored amazing placement into the near post. Shikku Sunil complete the score sheet with 6-2.
